Technical Stage Services (TSS) are Live Event Technology specialists in Leeds. Their team of experts boast specialisms across audio-visual, staging, and crew management to bring their diverse client base the best of both permanent installation and hire solutions.
The brief
When they came to us, the TSS team had a clear vision of what their new site should achieve. They wanted to pivot from a product-centric model, to a full-service offering. The website had to support this new positioning: TSS are trusted partners who solve their customer’s problems by drawing on relevant industry insights and expertise.
The website
This website was conceptualised around the three industries that TSS customers came from: education, venues, and events. The navigation bar invites the customer to recognise themselves in one of these sectors. They then take a journey through industry-specific content to identify a solution that suits them. Clients are reassured by everything they encounter on route that TSS are familiar with their field, and are experienced in helping people like them.
The TSS team wanted their client relationships to be based on trust. It was in service of this aim that we created the ‘Learning Centre’, an online knowledge library which is still expanding to reflect their technical expertise. This bank of articles and in-depth guides gives prospective customers a new way of discovering TSS and their services. If they have a specific technical question, they can easily find the answer in the online ‘Learning Centre’. Their very first impression of TSS is of a capable and knowledgeable collaborator.
As a point of difference from competitors, TSS pride themselves on being relatable and approachable. To convey this we included the functionality of linking each service page directly to the relevant team members’ profile. Not only does this give the customer confidence that TSS have qualified specialists, it also puts a friendly face to their complex technical output.
