Lamé began his web development journey at just 16 years old, inspired by a mentor’s passion for programming, graphic design, and technology in general. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a dedicated pursuit, continuing through his time at Harrogate College, where he earned a BTEC Level 3 IT qualification. In 2018, he transformed this passion into a career, joining Castlegate as an intern.

Now, with over six years of professional experience, Lamé is an expert in PHP and WordPress development. He thrives on enhancing the functionality and user experience of WordPress websites, tailoring solutions to meet client needs. His favourite part of the job? Improving the content management experience to empower clients and streamline their workflows.

Beyond his technical expertise, Lamé excels in project management and client communication, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and exceed expectations. His primary responsibilities at Castlegate include the development, deployment, and maintenance of websites, as well as consulting and providing support on website-related challenges.

In addition to his core role, Lamé has expanded his skill set into systems administration, reinforcing his reputation as a versatile and valuable member of the Castlegate team.
