York Mind
York Mind is an independent provider of high quality mental health services in York and surrounding areas. Formed as a result of a merger between Our Celebration and York & District Mind, the charity focuses on the needs of those with moderate to severe mental health issues. At the time of the merger the two organisations had a combined age of 84 years and had helped thousands of people in their recovery from mental ill-health!
We had previously developed and maintained the Our Celebration website so York Mind approached us after their merger to give the website an overhaul. We worked within the Mind brand guidelines to produce a clean and fresh design to replace the old dated website. We also developed matching branding for their email newsletter, Twitter and YouTube accounts, tying in the new York Mind logo and branding.
We developed the website using WordPress to allow York Mind to update every aspect of the website and post updates more regularly. York Mind had been utilising social media effectively for a long time but their previous website lacked any content management system. Their new website allows all news, events and jobs to be posted automatically to Twitter and Facebook to allow them to reach a wider audience and eliminate the need to update each manually.
